Schematic, one of the nation's largest interactive client services agencies is seeking a full-time Art Director to join our growing Austin team. Schematic provides both design and technology solutions for a variety of platforms including the PC, mobile and television. Our mission is to create simple yet powerful solutions to our clients' business challenges. Some of our clients include Dell, ABC, Fox, GE, MTV, Motorola, and Microsoft.
The Art Director balances multiple projects successfully from concept to launch acting as lead creative for specific projects and is responsible for the success of the creative work. Responsibilities also include working closely with the client throughout the project, creating key design & creative work, presenting creative work at design reviews, directing Designers, Animators and Flash artists in fleshing out work on multiple projects.
Requirements:
- Balance multiple projects successfully from concept to launch
- Assigned as lead creative to specific projects
- Responsible for the success of the creative work
- Work closely with the client throughout the project Very hands on - creates key design & creative work
- Present creative work at design reviews Directs Designers, Animators and Flash artists in fleshing out work
- Work on 2-3 projects at a time Reports to Director, Creative Services
- Excellent communication skills and have experience dealing directly with clients in both ongoing project communications as well as client presentation.
