Schematic, one of the nation's largest interactive client services agencies is seeking a full-time User Experience Designer to join our growing Austin team. Schematic provides both design and technology solutions for a variety of platforms including the PC, mobile and television. Our mission is to create simple yet powerful solutions to our clients' business challenges. Some of our clients include Dell, ABC, Fox, GE, MTV, Motorola, and Microsoft.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant Information Architecture or Interaction Design experience.
Responsibilities include defining functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through motion tests, wireframes, site-maps, process flowcharts, content matrices, page description diagrams and other documentation.
Candidate must also be able to create user persona and use-case scenarios and contribute to the development of content models, nomenclature and taxonomies.
User Experience Designers must also demonstrate an understanding of how IA/ID concerns and requirements differ from platform-to-platform, collaborating closely with designers and technologists to build consensus around solutions to interface challenges.
The User Experience Designer will also contribute to the creation of conceptual blueprints for interfaces across platforms, including Mobile, Web and Television.
