We are a progressive marketing and web development company that focuses on creating rich ecommerce driven web solutions for our rapidly growing client base. Utilizing rich internet technologies to deliver industry best tools, interactive applications and websites are fundamental requirements for the success of our organization.
We are in search of a Senior Flash Designer with strong ActionScript experience to join our growing cross-functional design/development team in Austin, TX. This role will drive the conceptualization, design and development of various online initiatives for our clients. These initiatives will go on to become online, profit driving solutions, with meaningful user oriented metrics associated with them.
We are principally interested in candidates with a minimum of 3+ years of Flash/Flex experience. Exposure and/or experience with Adobe AIR is a major plus. The applicant should have demonstrable project based experience incorporating leading edge RIA capabilities that integrate with existing reporting and proprietary content management systems.
Qualifications
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines, learn software quickly, and willingness to keep up with the latest in internet technologies
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and research skills
- Strong communication skills in a cross-functional environment
- Be service orientation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior experience in a professional creative environment
- Design degree with 3+ years experience in Web, Flash or UI design
Candidate should demonstrate experience working with/implementing:
- XHTML, CSS and JavaScript/AJAX
- PHP/MySQL 5
- Actionscript 2/3 development with XML utilization
- Media players, streaming video and audio
- Web analytics (preferably Omniture Site Catalyst)
- Modeling interactive site navigation patterns
- FLEX/FLEX 2.0 and AIR (a big plus)
- Strategically architecting re-usable components
Professional technical proficiency with:
- Adobe CS3
- Microsoft Office
- Apple Computers and OS Server
- Apple iWork
- Subversion
