fd2s is looking for an extraordinary Interface Designer/Developer to join our growing 30-person firm. Operating at the intersection of design, technology, and research, we deliver innovative solutions that help people navigate and engage the public realm.
Resume must include an online portfolio or links which exhibit strong working knowledge of designing from concept to interactive prototypes with use of client-side languages such as XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Flash
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of user interface design with a strong track record in interactive design and development
- Ability to design clear and compelling user experiences for the web and other digital platforms
- Experience in animation and motion design
- Expertise in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator
- Work closely with the Design team to produce innovative yet easy-to-use interfaces that address complex business and user needs
- Rapidly create schematics and prototypes to define the architecture and interaction behaviors
- Ability to write and prepare documentation and styleguides
- Expert knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
Ideal candidates exhibit a passion for creating the best user experience possible and work well independently, as well as, in a team environment. Candidates will not only be able to brainstorm, articulate, and visualize concepts but also inform creative teams of front-end technology feasibility and best practices.
