FOCUS Brands, the franchisor of Schlotzsky's, Moe's Southwest Grill, Carvel Ice Cream and Cinnabon is now hiring for a Graphic Designer in our Austin office. The Graphic Designer is responsible for development of visual concepts, designs and messages that reflect our branding and speak to our target audiences to enable Franchise Partner profitability and long-term success and growth at FOCUS Brands.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Marketing department§ CMO, Director(s) and Managers on a daily basis to meet deadlines, department goals, and growth needs of franchise system.
Graphic design for national§ LTO promotions, collateral material, local store marketing campaigns, online and e-marketing campaigns, advertisements, point-of-purchase materials, packaging design, and occasional photo shoot art direction.
Design, production and or§ coordination of specialty marketing & communications projects for franchisees, corporate restaurants and staff, Franchise Business consultants, Franchise Communications team members, home office staff, and, as time permits, other FOCUS Brands staff.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Undergraduate degree and/or a minimum of three years graphic design experience in agency or publications-related field.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines on a daily basis.
- Restaurant segment experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively work with and cultivate team-building relationships with staff, franchisees and vendors.
- Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of meeting deadlines with consistent, high-quality work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, organization talents and proven ability to prioritize.
- High-level of proficiency in: Mac OSX; Adobe CS2 InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator; FlightCheck or similar pre-press; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Web site design & production, Flash and Illustration talents are a plus.
