Our client’s award-winning (and very cool) web marketing team is seeking an interactive designer to collaborate on cutting-edge web projects.
The Interactive Designer will be involved in the creation, design and direction of online projects; conception through launch. The Interactive Designer is responsible for maintaining and evolving the brand standard for each project in conjunction with other team members, helping create best in class solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and collaborate with designers to determine page layouts that retain user focus
- Creating client-appropriate, cutting edge designs for client projects
- Extensive knowledge of design tools
- Able to archive/organize work
- Able to follow/expand naming conventions
- Evolve the online brand
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of design tools - strong proficiency with PhotoShop CS3, Illustrator CS3 (Flash and Dreamweaver skills a plus)
- Familiarity with HTML and the constraints involved in producing graphics for the web and other interactive media
- Ability to follow existing identity standards
- Able to follow site navigation/architecture
- Understands principles of user experience design
- Understanding of limitations of the medium
- Ability to collaborate with and direct other designers on one solution
- Able to impart knowledge/train others
- Able to delegate work/manage time
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
