We are getting ready for our big Grand Opening Party for the new studio on December 1st. It's going to feature three different award-winning photographers and live music from Govinda. We would love for you to be there and please email out this invite to any and all of your friends....the more the merrier.

The party will feature an art show and sale from three world-renowned photographers, Dan Winters, Bear Guerra, and Jeff Wilson. All proceeds from the art sales will benefit Khabele and the Pisco Earthquake Fund in Peru (a region featured in one of the artist's work). This is our first attempt at a large-scale event open to the public. It is designed to spread awareness about the school and the studio as well as raise funds.

This event will be an Austin event and not reserved solely for the Khabele community, so please invite as many people as you like. It is not designed to showcase the students like most of our events, so we are not encouraging folks to bring the young ones. (If there are any older high school students who are really interested in photography, they are of course welcome.) There will be wine and music and it will be geared toward an adult crowd. In fact, we're discouraging school talk in general as we'd like for people to just mingle, have fun, and enjoy the ambience, fine art, wine, and great music.
