Value Pricing = Greater Income + Happier Clients
Value pricing is the idea that a fair price relates more to the client's expectations and alternatives than it does to the time taken to create the design. Understanding and using value pricing means you will make more money on the work you do, yet adopting a value pricing mind set is difficult for many design professionals. In many ways learning to use value price is learning to quit selling your time (a very finite resource!) and start selling your knowledge, something with infinite room to grow. Why value pricing is good for you and the client The difference between objective and perceived value How you can educate and shape client expectations We look forward to your participation!

For those of you who are new to our TeleForum calls:
1. Pick up your telephone and dial the above number, but please do not call early.
2. After one ring, you will be automatically connected to the TeleForum. No operators, no waiting.
3. During the call, feel free to speak up and share as appropriate, always using your first name and city.
4. If you call in using a speaker phone or cell phone please be prepared to "mute" except when you are speaking during the call. Just press *6 to toggle the mute on and off. This ensures the best possible call quality for all participants. We welcome multiple participants from your design firm. As there is no fee for the call you may find it easiest for each participant to call in on a separate line.
5. You can come and go as you please during the call, so if you need to step away for a few minutes, please just hang up and dial back in.
Note: There is a long distance call charge for your call into the conference center, but the 60 minute call should not cost more than $3 -$4. If you don't have a good long distance plan, try picking up a phone card from Walmart.
