Small Talks is a forum for Austin’s creative community to share and exchange ethical and practical discussion relevant to the local design industry.
About Doug Lyon
After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 1991, Doug began his career at GSD&M Advertising. He led projects for clients such as Southwest Airlines, Coca Cola and Chili’s. In 1994 he was selected as a Creative All-Star by Adweek Magazine. He became the youngest creative promoted to management and brought GSD&M its first ever Lion from the Cannes Advertising Festival.
In 1997 Doug launched Lyon Advertising. Building successful campaigns for regional and national clients Lyon has become one of Austin’s most respected creative agencies whose clients include Electronic Arts, Alienware, Pennzoil and many other leading brands.
His work has been featured in Communication Arts, PRINT and The British Design and Art Direction Annual.
