Description
Expose Yourself 5, the fifth annual student design competiton organized and held by AIGA Austin ACC Student Group (VisCom Creatives) is an event intended to provide a platform where students can expose their work to the design community. What started as a small exhibit has quickly grown into a larger showcase competition that is becoming widely recognized as an opportunity for students to put their design skills to the test while connecting with like-minded academics and professionals.
Entry Instructions
Visit VisCom Creatives to download entry form and guidelines. Mail your mounted entries with a printed copy of the completed entry form, a copy of your AIGA membership card (if available), and a check made payable to VisCom Creatives. Entries received without a check made to the correct total amount will be disqualified (see “Entry Fees” for details). Works may be submitted for as many categories as you wish. Entries will not be returned.
Competition Entry Fees
$10 AIGA Student Members for 2 entries (copy of AIGA membership card must be provided).
$15 Student Non-Members for 2 entries.
$5 Each for additional entries.
Awards/Prizes
Gift certifcate prizes will be awarded to the best entry of each category. A grand prize package, which includes gift certifcates and an iPod Nano (courtesy of Apple Computers), will also be awarded to one “Best of Show” winner.
All entries MUST BE RECEIVED by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 2nd.

Entries will be judged by a panel of Austin’s top designers. A “Best of Category” from each category and an overall “Best of Show” will be selected. Fill out an entry form, available online at VisComCreatives.org, affix it to the back of each board in the lower right-hand corner, and submit it with your entry fee. Entries that do not comply with the specified guidelines or are not accompanied with the appropriate entry fee will not be placed in the show.
