About Luke Sullivan

After working 10 years at the well-regarded Minneapolis agency Fallon McElligott, Luke Sullivan was named Chief Creative Officer of Atlanta's largest agency, WestWayne. After four years of helping WestWayne attain some creative accolades of their own, Mr. Sullivan is now Group Creative Head at GSD&M. He also worked as Vice President of The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia, after beginning his career as an understudy to Tom McElligott at Bozell & Jacobs.

Mr. Sullivan's 24 years of experience include working for such clients as Miller Lite beer, United Airlines, Lee Jeans, Publix Supermarkets, SunTrust and Ralston Purina, as well as Porsche, BMW and Maserati.

Mr. Sullivan is the author of a highly regarded book on advertising, Hey Whipple, Squeeze This, now in its second edition and available in five languages. He's twice been named by Adweek as one of the top 10 copywriters in America. He's also been honored by a variety of national and international award shows, including London's D&AD and the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. In addition, Mr. Sullivan has 21 medals to his credit from the prestigious One Show Awards.

He adds that he enjoys the indoors and likes to spend a lot of time there.
